I have never encountered a teacher as qualified and attentive as Kristina. As an architect with 40 years of experience, I can say that even during my training, I did not receive such a professional and individualized approach, despite studying at one of the best architectural schools. I am eternally grateful to Kristina for the care and knowledge she provided, which has helped me become a true artist.

I approached Kristina with a clear goal: to learn how to draw realistic portraits so I could illustrate my books and stories on my own. I started from scratch in drawing—I was terrified to pick up a pencil, and everything I created was crooked and barely recognizable. Thanks to Kristina's methodology, along with her patience and belief in me, I learned to convey likeness, represent volume, and mix colors correctly after just five months. It was challenging, especially since many considered me incompetent in painting. However, my results prove otherwise.

I want to share my impressions of the dry pastel painting course and express my gratitude to Kristina. I’m not an artist and had no drawing skills when I started. I came to the course to give it a try, and while I was initially scared due to my lack of ability, Kristina created such a magical atmosphere in the classroom. Her inspiration and support helped me overcome my fears, and I felt that sense of magic throughout the course.

Additionally, my sketches and the joy I experienced in class inspired my 8-year-old daughter to learn to draw, and we were able to attend classes together. I really enjoyed the watercolor painting course, as it was my first experience learning how to work with this medium correctly to achieve results I loved. The paintings turned out light and airy.

I took courses in academic drawing at the Kristina Mariinskaya School. The classes were held in a wonderful, calm atmosphere, and the lesson topics were explained in simple language. During those two hours, I completely disconnected from everything and immersed myself in drawing. The time flew by, and I wished I could stay longer to continue creating.
